MpactingHer has been an influence in my life for many years. There is one particular thing that was spoken to me that I implement almost daily. She told me, "Take 5 seconds before responding, whether it's to defend or to answer a question" . I can even remember where I was when she told me! Wow! That completely changed how I respond and it has become second nature to me. Ironically, I would quote James 1:19, " Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry...."
